1/350 Klingon K’Tinga Revisited

Back in 2008 I had the luxury to help cast parts for this kit (as well as another kit he was selling at the time) for Richard Long the original creator of the K’Tinga masters. This was a short run by Sovereign Replicas under his ownership, the masters were sold or traded off so no clue as to where they are now. I managed to locate a second set of masters (at least that is what I was told they are) so maybe there were two sets? I don’t know yet, but since Richard is the original creator and owes me and hasn’t delivered not to mention it’s been well over 15 years and don’t expect on him to follow through on his end so I’m going to rework and update these masters when I receive them and build my own.

Note: Photo pictured is not the masters but of a kit from those masters. Photo is reference only and not being offered as kit here.

Revisiting the T-70 X-Wing

The original patterns for this kit was made some time ago by Richard Long (Former Sovereign Replicas owner) and it was then sold to Kurt Kuhn of Modeler Magic for Korbanth to produce kits but they released it as a kit with solid cast pieces which wasn’t the intentions. The kit that people ended up with was a hard to build and add the proper lighting it deserved. The fuselage and engines were cast solid making it very hard for the builder to add this to their build not to mention a very heavy unbalanced chunk of resin.

Korbanth no longer produces kits anymore and haven’t for a few years now, Kurt Kuhn is no longer in the model hobby at all. So a new master will be created.

Resurrected

Sovereign Replicas is back and under a complete new ownership with no affiliation with the previous owner but back with the same quality of craftsmanship. The domain/business was purchased in 2024.

The logo…a scarab with wings will be retained as with ancient Egyptian mythology it represents “rebirth or resurrection” in the afterlife thus in regards to the name and quality Sovereign Replicas is reborn under a new owner with the same quality it’s known for.
