This is a scratchbuild of the Hound’s Tooth from Star Wars expanded universe. It’s made from plexiglass around an aluminum channel. Various kit parts were used to achieve the surface detail. It’s basically a freight train in space.

This is a re-detail of the Hasbro Hyena Bomber as seen in the Clone Wars. It was stripped down, repainted and LED lighting added.
From The Empire Strikes Back. The same size as the studio model at 19″x19″.

This is a scratch built work in progress of the USS Defiant, seen in Star Trek Deep Space Nine TV Series, and in Star Trek First Contact. My goal is to replicate the exact details and dimensions of the filming miniature. Through research I’ve been able to track down the original materials and commercially available model kit parts used in it’s detailing. The finished master pattern will be used to make a silicone rubber mold which will be used to cast a lightweight fiberglass casting, which will then be used to make the finished, lit and painted replica.

A resin casting of a Tyrannosaur bust. It will be posed with it’s mouth slightly opened, which will require me to remove the jaw, then re sculpt the details when it’s reattached.
